By entering the Family Edited DVDs web site and/or purchasing from the Family Edited DVDs website, I will have released and discharged the providers, owners, creators, of this site from any and all liability, costs, damages, expenses, attorney fees which may arise due to my purchase from Family Edited DVDs. I agree to hold Family Edited DVDs harmless for all claims, costs, liability, expenses associated directly or indirectly as a result of my purchase from the Family Edited DVDs website.

LIQUIDATION OF INVENTORY

I acknowledge and agree that this is a liquidation sale, and as such there are absolutely no refunds. ALL SALES ARE FINAL! I explicitly agree that there are NO Refunds, NO Returns, NO Exchanges!

I understand that Family Edited DVDs is closing its business, and as such are liquidating all of its edited backup DVDs. I understand that supply is limited and that the only DVDs available are what I see on the website. I understand that if a movie becomes out of stock, I will be refunded the difference. I understand that this will be my last chance to order edited movies. I understand that once all of the DVDs are sold out, the Family Edited DVDs store will officially be closed.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Family Edited DVDs uses its reasonable judgement in creating edited archival backups; however, such decisions are, by their nature, entirely subjective. Family Edited DVDs uses both closed captions and subtitles to verify language and remove 99% of vulgar language. Due to the amount of content and profanity in some movies and the volume and intensity of a scene, some words may be missed. I acknowledge and agree that Family Edited DVDs makes no guarantee that every instance of objectionable content will be edited out of every original movie.

I agree that Family Edited DVDs makes no claims that the edited archival backups are appropriate for viewing by minors or any particular age group. I agree to take responsibility to determine appropriateness of all DVD content for my viewing needs in my sole and absolute discretion. Nothwithstanding the editing, many of the edited archival backups may still contain subject matter or themes that are considered offensive, or of a mature nature, and cannot be completely edited from the movie. I agree to take the responsibility to be informed and aware that some edited movies may still contain content that is inappropriate for sensitive and/or young viewers. Therefore, parental guidance is essential and strongly recommended.

The edited archival backup is burned onto a DVD-R, which is playable on most stand-alone DVD players that are DVD-R compatible. I acknowledge and agree that not all DVD players will play DVD-R discs. I understand that Family Edited DVDs is not responsible for the performance of my DVD player. Using a game playing device or DVD player that doesn't support DVD-R may cause a synchronization problem, skipping of the DVD, or may not even play the DVD. I agree that Family Edited DVDs does not guarantee that the DVD(s) will play in all DVD players. If in doubt, I will consult my DVD manual to determine if it can play DVD-R discs.

I explicitly agree and understand that I will only be receiving the edited archival backup and that I am ultimately responsible for having the associated original DVD in my possession. I further understand that the archive copy may not include all the content of the original retail DVD and the performance of the motion picture may be altered from the performance intended by the director or copyright holder of the motion picture.

I agree to always keep the archive copy with the accompanying original retail DVD. I AGREE TO USE THE ARCHIVE DVD MOVIES FOR MY OWN PRIVATE USE, AND NOT FOR ANY PUBLIC OR COMMERCIAL PURPOSE OR BROADCAST OF ANY KIND. I agree not to copy or have copies made of any archive DVD or any portion thereof. Any breach of this paragraph is a violation of existing copyright law and may result in legal action against the breaching party.

I also agree that I will never transfer, sell, assign or otherwise convey in any way the archive copy of my original retail DVD. The archival copy will solely be used for my own personal purposes. In the event that I decide to transfer, sell, assign or otherwise convey my original retail DVD to a third party, I agree to destroy my archival copy.

SHIPPING OF ORDERS

I agree that all shipping is done through the United States Postal Service. I understand that the estimated delivery is within 3-4 weeks. I understand that Family Edited DVDs makes no guarantee on a specific date of delivery. We ship ONLY to the United States of America. We do not ship to military locations (including APO and FPO). We ONLY ship to the address in your user account on our website; the shipping and billing address MUST be identical.

I agree that Family Edited DVDs shall not be liable or deemed to be responsible for any delay, damage, or lost of any packages through postal service since this is beyond our reasonable control. I agree that Family Edited DVDs is not responsible if you provide an invalid shipping address. I further agree that Family Edited DVDs is not responsible for my failure to accept delivery of the package.

PAYMENT AND REFUND OF ORDERS

I agree that the only form of payment currently accepted is credit card (MasterCard, Visa). I understand that no other forms of payment are accepted. In many instances, the Content available through Family Edited DVDs represents the opinions and judgments of the respective Provider, Merchant, Sponsor, Licensor or User not under contract with Family Edited DVDs.
